Find Your Router IP address

In this guide, we will walk you through finding your router’s IP address across all major operating systems.

1. Find Router IP on Windows (Command Prompt)

Windows refers to your router’s IP as the “Default Gateway.”

• Press Win + R, type cmd, and press Enter.
• In the black window, type ipconfig and hit Enter.
• Look for the line that says Default Gateway. The numbers listed there (e.g., 192.168.1.1) is your router’s IP.

2. Find Router IP on macOS

Apple makes it simple to find network details through System Settings.

• Click the Apple Icon > System Settings.
• Go to Network and select your connected Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
• Click Details or Advanced.
• Navigate to the TCP/IP tab. Your router’s IP is listed next to Router.

3. Find Router IP on Mobile (iOS & Android)

For iPhone/iPad:

Go to Settings > Wi-Fi. Tap the blue (i) icon next to your network. Scroll down to find Router.

For Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Tap the gear icon next to your network. Tap Advanced or View More to see the Gateway IP.
